Silicone spray lubricant Panel retainer remover Pick Saddle cup assembly tape or wedge to hold window Flat blade screwdriver or plastic pry tool 10mm socket or driver Phillips screwdriver PLEASE WEAR SAFETY GLASSES General Tech Tips Use painter s tape rather than duct tape to secure window It will not damage paint or leave sticky residue A plastic pry tool is useful It will not easily damage delicate trim like a screwdriver or metal pry bar The replacement regulator should have a liberal amount of grease on slide area If there is not much grease present white lithium grease works well to lubricate the slide area Aftermarket window tinting can cause the window to travel slower and put additional strain on the window regulator assembly Window run channels should be cleaned and pulling toward you and pushing upward to release the door from the inner door belt weatherstrip STEP 2a Disconnect the door lock latch rod retainer from the door handle STEP 2b Disconnect the master Instructions STEP 1 Position the window regulator inside of door STEP 2 Install the hardware holding the window regulator onto the door STEP 3 Connect the window regulator motor harness 7 741 649 instructions carefully STEP 3a You may need to temporarily connect the master window switch to be able to move the window regulator plate into position You may need to do this to be able to attach the window glass to the window regulator STEP 4 Tighten all of the attaching hardware holding the regulator assembly to the door STEP 4a Attach the water shield STEP 5 Attach the door handle latch rod to
