4 3 5 0 5 7 LITER G M UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ATTENTION Refer to the appropriate shop manual for your vehicle to obtain specific service procedures for this part If you do not have a service manual or lack the skill to install this part it is recommended that you seek the services of a qualified technician Pay special attention to all cautions and warnings included in the shop manual Read and follow all instructions carefully Failure to do so will result in severe damage to the intake manifold and to the engine 1 Carefully remove upper intake manifold per the service procedure outlined in the shop manual 2 Clean all mounting surfaces 3 Reinstall intake per procedure outlined in shop manual 4 Located next to the mounting bolt holes are the sequence numbers for torquing the manifold bolts 5 Carefully follow the torque sequences molded into the manifold next to the bolt holes 6 Torque all bolts to 44 INCH POUNDS on the first pass 7 Torque all bolts to 88 INCH POUNDS on the second pass
